Our premium yoga mats are 24" wide x 72" tall x 0.25" thick and made from natural rubber with a blended microfiber top surface.   The top of the mat has the image printed on it, and the back is solid black with textured dimples for better floor grip.

Is this how you tell time?

This painting has a decidedly watery element, and some rather odd, not hidden, but subtle imagery, if you look closely. Like iioots companion piece, Little Deaths, his is a really rather abstract, elongated, vertical depiction of some of the colorful, textured detritus of fall, leaves, insects, minerals, lichen, wet spots, fungi and frost patterns in the organic shapes in which nature specializes and in my current favorite color palette. As a painting, it is designed to fit in unusual spaces and it also makes a really sweet yoga mat.

To me, making art is about the stopping of time, as are so many of the things I most love doing. I don't believe in time as we know it. When I become engaged in creating something, I no longer feel subject to time's constricting whims. That is why I am driven to create. I love the light touch and thrilling chemistry of watercolor painting, the bold strokes possible in pastel work, the patterns I can create with an ink drawing, and learning something new, always. Color thrills me. Texture delights. I hope with each work to retain the clarity of what I see, and bring that into view for others.
