Seasonal Stream Of Consciousness is a vivid and textural autumnal landscape/dreamscape of aspens trees and colorful changing leaves. The trees seem to dance in the breeze, and everything is flowing and dreamy. Some days the colors are just brighter, as if the windows have just been cleaned and suddenly you can see!

When creating this painting, I really enjoyed the melding and merging and freedom of applying these vibrant colors to experience how they cooperate to create something striking and beautiful and sometimes unexpected. Sometimes making art is about taking risks and trusting yourself and the process. With watercolor, it can be a very fine line between pushing the limits of color, and mud, as the painter risks the unforeseeable while doing the minimally controllable. I love the meditative dance involved in allowing the painting to communicate what it has to say, during the process.
