Artist's Description
One Of These Mornings
One Of These mornings is snowy scene looking into a stand of evergreen trees in Rocky Mountain National Park, in Colorado, near Estes Park. Living in a state with so much natural beauty, painters are frequently inclined to paint the landscapes they see about them. This one is painted loosely and wetly, in blues both deep and light, purples and earthy red.
*****
Although the recent flooding has caused setbacks for many Coloradans, especially in the area picture, Rocky Mountain National Park is still open to visitors, and as beautiful as ever.
*****
With majestic mountains, tundra wildflowers, abundant wildlife, Trail Ridge Road (the highest paved road in the US), and over 350 miles of trails, Rocky Mountain National Park is spectacular! From flat easy hikes around a mountain lake to challenging multiday backpack trips and climbs, Rocky Mountain National Park offers trails for hikers of every level.
Winter means snow in the Rockies and snow...

I may not always achieve that, but the honest desire is present in each of my pieces. For those who enjoy facts; I am a signature member of...
