Description
Current Conditions is part of a series of large semi abstract aspen themed paintings I created, incorporating rich, vivid colors that best represent the autumnal changing leaves, and textural elements reflective of the local flora along with the mood of the piece. Painted from imagination after observation, it is a vivid and flowing, textural autumnal landscape/dreamscape of aspens trees and colorful changing leaves, painted in a meditative, flowing style. This is one of my larger paintings, and beautiful to view at a distance. When looking more closely, the viewer is likely to notice intriguing imagery within smaller areas of the artwork.

To me, each aspen tree has a unique character and personality, and I hope to capture some of those qualities in my recent aspen themed work, along with the bold colors and exciting energy of fall. This series of paintings expresses a dreamlike quality that I often experience, and hope to share.

Current Conditions is matted and framed with a crisp white mat and somewhat ornate gold frame that emphasizes the rich colors of the painting.
