Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption. The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton. Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").
Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Living in the mountains of Colorado, I am lucky to have a small and beautiful stand of aspens directly outside my studio window. They are always there for inspiration, with changing seasons, weather and time of day bringing out different colors and qualities. Aspens Abstract I is a modern style semiabstract watercolor painting of a stand of aspen or birch trunks, famous for their white bark with all the customary dark eyes, scratches, lines, imperfections and shading.So often, we focus on the sparkling, shaking, color changing leaves of the aspen tree, but what about when you are inside the woods, staring into and around the mysterious looking and sometimes ghostly white trunks? I wanted to give a sense of that experience.

To me, making art is about the stopping of time, as are so many of the things I most love doing. I don't believe in time as we know it. When I become engaged in creating something, I no longer feel subject to time's constricting whims. That is why I am driven to create. I love the light touch and thrilling chemistry of watercolor painting, the bold strokes possible in pastel work, the patterns I can create with an ink drawing, and learning something new, always. Color thrills me. Texture delights. I hope with each work to retain the clarity of what I see, and bring that into view for others.
