Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption. The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton. Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").
Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

This is a floor up study to a free flowing, loose, wet watercolor depicting one of my favorite flowers, the edible and easy to grow nasturtium. Nasturtiums move all the time, they glow, vibrate, radiate...........they bring me joy.

Vivid, orange and yellow flowers with red accents, large round leaves like water lilies, a cute pointy tail, wrinkles and crinkles, little hairs, and a sprawling, ever changing growth habit make these flowers easy to love, if not to paint.

This watercolor painting was begun as a study, to practice painting the flowers before I added them into a complex still life, but turned out to be a charming and rewarding painting all on its own. These flowers are fun to paint and while last time I got to splash, drip, use a dry brush, try out my sumi-e brushstrokes, and play., this time around I focused on adding a little more detail and realism, while still trying to keep a fresh feeling and an interestin...
To me, making art is about the stopping of time, as are so many of the things I most love doing. I don't believe in time as we know it. When I become engaged in creating something, I no longer feel subject to time's constricting whims. That is why I am driven to create. I love the light touch and thrilling chemistry of watercolor painting, the bold strokes possible in pastel work, the patterns I can create with an ink drawing, and learning something new, always. Color thrills me. Texture delights. I hope with each work to retain the clarity of what I see, and bring that into view for others.
