This is a large, loosely painted, open bottle, in luminous colors, wet, splashy, wild and fun. Big, imperfect, and unapologetic, it says, "Drink me, if you dare." A large and bold watercolor, in which I chose to break the rules, more or less centering it on the paper. The original has deckled edges, and it would be especially beautiful floated, when framed. The large, simple shape and composition allow the colors to take all the focus.

I enjoy looking at this one so much, I am tempted to keep it. Painting it was a pleasure, the rich combination of colors brings me joy, and, not incidentally, it looks great with my purple velvet divan. How would it make your space feel?
